Realistic scenic model railway layout made to order in HO scale 1/87, or N scale 1/160.

Modelling scenic landscape railroad layouts is my passion from a yong age. I take great care to detail, and realism.

1 - This model rail way layout is carved manually out of light weight insulation foam.

2 - This layout is handmade to order in scale HO 1/87 or N 1/160.
In HO scale the base is 120 x 90 cms (47.2 x 35.4 inches)
In N scale the base is 70 x 60 cms (27.5 x 23.6 inches)

3 - This is a single railway track , with the same type of scenery in both HO and N scale, with 3 tunnels and 3 different sections of landscape on one layout.

4 - The pine and deciduous trees are made by me from twisted steel wire or wooden pins, with poly fiber, and or coconut fiber, and than sprinkled with fine turf and or course turf. You can choose summer, autumn or winter colours.

5 - The landscape, roads, side walks and open fields are made with acrylic paints, PVA glue, fine and or course turf, and synthetic static grass fibers. Mountains and rocks are carved very detailed out of insulation foam. The bare rocks are getting a watered down black wash, and blow sprinkled with fine turf for realistic effect.

6 - The water surface is made with PVA glue, shrinkled soft tissue paper creating realistic waves, brushed with watered down PVA glue. Once this is dry, a mixture of almost dry brushing light green, brown, dark green and black acrylic paint, smoothly flowing into each other, finished off with various layers of acrylic varnish.

7 - Included is 1 transformers and 1 speedregulator. The layout is analog. You can also operate a DC digital controled train on the layout.

8 - The processing time to make this layout is between 90 to 100 hours for an HO scale and 80 to 90 hours for an N scale layout, over a period of 4 to 5 weeks, between the various stages of drying of glue, paints, and assembling. Before shipping I will send you photos for your approval, and once you are satisfied I will send it to your adrees by DHL Express.

9 - Shipping with DHL Express, delivery takes about 3 to 5 days depending on destination, is free and included in the price. A strong double layer corrugated carton is used for packaging to fit the base of the layout so it cannot move sideways. Soft tissue paper balls are used to fill the open space in the box. For safe transport reason the trees are packed on top of the layout. You can easily insert the trees into the insulation foam.
The total weight of the completed railway layout including the corrugated carton box does not exceed 15 kilos for an HO layout and 10 kilos for an N scale layout..

Locomotives and coaches are not included in the price.
