LAYOUT:
This model train layout is lightweight, portable, easy to store in a cupboard when not in use, with a fantastic realistic landscaped mountain partly covered with trees, including tunnels, creeks and or lake scenes.

LANDSCAPE:
The completed landscape railway layout, is carved out of light weight insulation foam with trees and realistic water sceneries on a base size of 125 x 60 cms (About 4 x 2 feet) or in the case of KATO and PECO 125 x 70 cms (4 x 2.3 feet), and maximum 25 cms high (9,8 inches)
The landscape has 3 tunnels with trains going in and out into 3 different scenery types on one layout (See the layout plan design)

TREES:
The pine and deciduous trees are made from twisted steel wire or wooden pins, with poly fibre, and or coconut fibre, and then sprinkled with fine turf and or course turf. You can choose summer, autumn or winter colours.

DECORATION:
The landscape, roads, sidewalks and open fields are made with acrylic paints, PVA glue, fine and or course turf, and synthetic static grass fibres. Mountains and rocks are carved very detailed out of insulation foam. The bare rocks are getting a watered-down black wash, and blow sprinkled with fine turf for realistic effect.

WATER SCENERY:
The water surface is made with PVA glue, soft tissue paper creating realistic waves, brushed with watered down PVA glue. Once this is dry, a mixture of almost dry brushing light green, brown, dark green and black acrylic paint, smoothly flowing into each other, finished off with various layers of acrylic varnish.

NOT INCLUDED:
Transformers, and speed regulators. The layout can be made for analogue or DCC operation.
Rolling stock, railway track, transformer, and speed regulators as shown on the photos and video, are not included in the price

PROCESSING TIME:
The processing time to make this layout is between 80 to 90 hours over a period of 6 to 7 weeks, between the various stages of drying of glue, paints, and assembling. Before shipping I will send you photos for your approval, and once you are satisfied, I will send it to your address by DHL Express.

SHIPPING:
Shipping with DHL Express, delivery takes about 3 to 5 days depending on destination, is free and included in the price. A strong double layer corrugated carton is used for packaging to fit the base of the layout so it cannot move sideways. Soft tissue paper balls are used to fill the open space in the box. For safe transport reason some of the trees may be packed on top of the layout. You can easily insert the trees into the insulation foam.
The total weight of the completed railway layout including the corrugated carton box does not exceed 8 kilos.

All dioramas and model railway layouts are handmade custom orders. Returns are not accepted.
